This park used to be quite nice, you know. The, um … old part, which was the park we walked through, there used to be a bandstand there, halfway down, and we used to go and play on this blinking bandstand. But it was nice. But I remember a band being in there once, a military band or something playing, and a bit further on was down the dell, was … there was a bit of a pond. That was dangerous, they used to say, for the children.
