I have lived in Birmingham for 23 years. I live just outside Yardley. When I moved here I had a lovely view from my house of a small field bordered by trees. Unfortunately due to a problem with drainage and sewers on our estate last September (2016) much of the field and our road had to be dug up so that vital repair work could be carried out. Fortunately nearly a year later the work is almost complete apart from new grass growing so things are now nearly back to normal. This has taught me not to take everything in the neighborhood for granted and I look forward to getting my view back. I am grateful for always having been kept up to date on the progress by Severn Trent Water who have been very courteous and efficient.
