Brilllant Voig4lander Camera, taken from a german soldier 1945

My step father who has always lived in yardley, was a member of the regiment that liberated Bergen-Belsen, concentration camp in April 1945. He too the camera of the German solider who had it hidden under his jacket.

He took beautiful pictures with it and often went fishing down the river Cole.

The only thing Earnie would talk about [the war] was watching the Jews dismembering some of the Germans. He didn’t talk much as it always brought him to tears.
